About Dr. Sameer Arbat

Pioneer of Interventional Pulmonology in Central India — clinician, researcher, inventor, teacher, and founder of One Healthcare, Nagpur.

A doctor who brought the world home

Dr. Sameer Arbat grew up with the belief that geography should never determine the quality of healthcare a patient receives. After completing his MBBS and MD in Respiratory Medicine from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha, he pursued advanced training at some of India's most respected institutions, including Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and Tata Memorial Cancer Centre, where he trained in the precision of bronchoscopic oncology.

An international fellowship at Ospedali Riuniti in Ancona, Italy, under the guidance of Professor Stefano Gasparini at one of Europe's leading thoracic endoscopy centres, played a defining role in shaping his clinical vision. He returned to Nagpur not only with advanced skills but with a clear purpose: to establish a world-class interventional pulmonology programme in Central India.

“Patients in Nagpur were travelling to Mumbai or Delhi for procedures that could be made available closer to home. I wanted to change that.”

Dr. Sameer Arbat is a passionate and dedicated Interventional Pulmonologist with over 10 years of experience, during which he has positively impacted the lives of more than 10,000 patients through his work at One Healthcare, Nagpur. Known for his patient-centred approach and clinical excellence, Dr. Arbat combines advanced medical knowledge with genuine compassion to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of respiratory conditions. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of Asthma, COPD, Tuberculosis, Bronchiectasis, Allergic Airway Diseases, and Lung Cancer.
